It's not always necessary to travel with a stroller and in some places it may even be inconvenient to do so. Depending on the weight of your child it's super easy to manage with just a carrier and for babies you don't even have to take them out to nurse! I do not go anywhere without my carrier and I absolutely love my Ergobaby 360 . I used to have a Baby B'jorn and it killed my back and I could only front carry with it. I asked my FB mom group for recommendations and the astounding choice was Ergobaby. I went to a baby store in NYC that gave tutorials on how to use them and let you try on several and decided on the Ergo 360. It allows you to carry your baby on your chest, either hip, and back. It has a sleeping hood to hold babies head up when they fall asleep while also providing shade for them in the sun. The downfall to it is the velcro strap that goes around your waist. It can be loud and has startled my the kids a few times when they were sleeping when I was taking it off (I have since learned to remove it when I have left their rooms). Also the tutorial shows how to get your child in the back carry position alone and although I have done it by myself it's definitely easier if you have someone to help you. I used it to carry my two year old throughout Colombia and up all 740 stairs to the top of the Rock of Penol in Guatape. Disclosure: “Some of the links in this post are affiliate links. Is there a hands free back pack for toddlers when they get tired from walking?
